So it's about 7:40 am and we should board in an hour.
Our flight to Taipei made really good time and we got here about 45 minutes earlier than expected.
The walk from the one gate to the next wasn't bad at all. Last time we were here it was a super long walk and my dad was super winded.
I packed Advil, but in my checked luggage and forgot to put the travel size one in my carry on and I have a killer headache. It's centralized on one spot of my head and I've had it since probably Tuesday. And no, I haven't taken anything for it yet so I am hoping that once I take something the headache will go away.
Linda and I went roaming around the airport to find something to eat. We settled on a combo of what looked like wanton soup with a chicken and rice dish. It came with a beverage of choice (we choose bottled water) and tea. The tea was too fragant for me. The meal was about $8 USD. It's a lot of food for one person, but we did see people eating it all by themselves.
So we're at the gate and of course there are lots of Cambodian people. My dad is talking to some random people. Maybe the loneliness got to him because he won't stop talkling and it doesn't seem like the people he's talking with are that interested in the conversation. They're polite and responding...Oh well, better go rescue him from himself.
Part II:
I rescued my dad. He's now napping. We have probably 30 minutes until we board. Linda is hoping we get the Hello Kitty jet. Eva Airlines has a fleet of Hello Kitty jets. There's Hello Kitty everywhere in the airport.
